MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – March 15, 2016Kingston Resorts®, comprising Kingston Plantation® and Kingston Shores®, will turn off all non-essential lighting for Earth Hour at 8:30 p.m. on March 19. The two hotels, Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort and Embassy Suites by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort , are both green certified, and this effort is one of many initiatives to reduce, reuse and recycle whenever possible.


Additionally, the chefs at Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort have prepared a sustainable menu for its oceanfront restaurant Café Amalfi. The two-course meal is available for $26, and reservations are recommended.


First Course:  Local Green Salad

 Local Mixed Greens, Tomato Compote, Country Ham, Pickled Onion, Pimento Cheese Dressing

Second Course: Shrimp and Grits

Local Prawns, Fried Grit Cake, Candied Bacon Relish, Smoked Gouda Cream, Garlic Spinach


Café Amalfi is Kingston Resort’s® casual fine dining restaurant and winner of Trip Advisor's 2013 Certificate of Excellence. Overlooking beautiful ocean views, the restaurant's extensive menu features eclectic cuisine including seafood, steak, pasta, sandwiches and more.
